Our head instructor Regis Lebre awarded Zak Maxwell the Black Belt after years of training and dedication. A resilient student, a fierce competitor and a great person was some of the qualities pointed out from some friends that known Zak from years.

Gracie San Diego would like to wish a good luck to our Gracie Humaita Competition team on the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World’s Championship. We will post the location one more time for the ones who would like to cheer for our team.

The tournament will take place on June 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th in California State University Long Beach, Long Beach, California, EUA.

The class environment and the techniques were some of the positive points of the survey conducted with the participants. Due to the most important Tournament of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Calendar, Gracie San Diego won’t be offering classes on Friday 06/04/201o and Saturday 06/05/2010. Please contact your head instructor if you would like to cheer for the Gracie Humiata Team at Tournament.

Fundamentals Program 5:00 – 6:00 pm

Gracie Self-Defense Program 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Blakbelt Program 7:00 – 8:30 pm

We won’t be offering the Intermediate Program at 12:00 – 1:30 pm

New Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Classes @ Gracie San Diego

Gracie San Diego will be adding a morning class in order to accommodate our students’ needs. The classes will be held from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. Tuesday and Thursday which will be part of the All Levels Program. Instead of a mug of coffee, this is a healthier way of start your day.

In addition, we will be incorporating another class to our Kids’ Program on Saturday’s from 10:00AM to 10:50 AM.

We hope that you will take advantage of our new Schedule that will be implemented on June 1st, 2010.

Moreover, Gracie San Diego changed kids’ class schedule in order to better fit our youngsters’ needs. The classes are from 5:00 P.M. to 5:50 P.M. Tuesday and Thursday.
